I was at stage door on Aug 10th, but I couldn't get close enough to David to get his autograph or hand him the gift I brought for him. So I waited after David and Catherine were gone for Steve to come out and he did, announced that they already left the building. Then I asked him if he would hand the gift over to David and he was so sweet, he said of course and promised he'll do it first thing next day when David comes in. I was so disappointed that I couldn't get close to David, but Steve was so nice and made me feel much better, he's such a lovely guy! :)

Here’s my Steve story:
I went to Wyndhams on 25th of August. As you can imagine I was very excited. I’ve read all the Stage Door/Steve stories so I kept looking out for him! When I spotted him at the front door I whispered in my friend’s ear: OMG there’s Steve!!! But silly as I was I was too shy to approach and speak to him so I just went inside to buy the CD and program. When I got outside again, I leaf through the pages, and took a smell at it (don’t judge me, I always do that!) then I heard this voice: “You know he rubbed it on his breast this morning!” I turned around (horrified that someone saw me doing that) and saw Steve with a cheeky smile on his face! I nervously laughed “yeah I was hoping for that” So we talked a bit and when he learnt from my friend that it was my b-day he congratulated me at least 5 times :D then we took this awesome pic:

aww he was so lovely. Of course I told him I knew him already and that he’s got a proper fanbase out there with loads of photos “haha yeah I’m always in the background” and then he asked me where my seats are and he gave me a detailed description on how to get to Stage Door the quickest! He really made sure I understood lol Isn’t he lovely? I didn’t even ask and he just assumed I was a David fan and wanted to make sure I get to Stage Door :)
Last thing he said was: “oh it’s your first time? well then you’re definitely in for a treat! Happy Birthday!”

I'm so pleased that there's a whole blog for Steve!! He was lovely the times I went - he held the door when I went in to collect the Lottery ticket I won, so he holds a special place in my heart, and my program (which is an extension thereof).
